How to turn life into a party

If you are throwing a party, you will have to go through some preparations. It is the same if you want to turn your life into a party. You will have to decorate, move a few things to the side, and clean up afterwards. Then why would we still want to live life as if it is a party? Happy people live healthier and longer.

Here are 5 steps to a great life party.

  1. Instead of shopping for food and drinks, your life party needs, the ability to enjoy, the ability to make choices, and the ability to see the meaning of life. You can learn these skills by practicing.
  2. The guests are a very important ingredient of a party. Many people waste too much time of their life on people who complain, always need help, but generally offer nothing in return. Be more honest and open to people around you and surround yourself with people you can trust.
  3. Music off at two a.m. is a reasonable rule for a party, but too many rules will kill the fun very quickly. Do you make your life miserable with too many self imposed rules? Are you trying to get approval from everyone? Or do your self-imposed rules reach a point of perfectionism? Learn to let go and break the rules sometimes. Breaking self-created rules can be the key to a more spontaneous, exciting and fulfilling life.
  4. You don’t have to invite the neighbors for your party, but you must warn them that it might be a noisy evening. You cannot please everyone and you do not need everyone to be your friend, but be social and respect others. It is easier to take other people into account than to feel guilty over hurting someone.
  5. While preparing for a party; decorating, cooking, dressing up, etc, you will already enjoy the feeling of anticipation. It’s in the air! If you focus on how boring your life is and that nothing ever happens, your life will be like that. Instead, focus on the positive and see that many fun things are happening all around you.

Celebrate life! Enjoy!

Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful.
Annette Funicello

You cannot expect every day of your life to be a party, because less enjoyable things will continue to happen. That is part of life. You do not have to deny the negative things in life, but instead learn to trust that you can deal with it. Be optimistic and keep enjoying life. Reflect on your day or week and appreciate all the good things that happened.

And remember: no party without dishes. Everything we do in life has consequences. Perhaps you pass on some of your happiness, health, wealth, etc to others and do some voluntary work, charity, and make other people’s life a party as well.

It is nice to see that the posts that make least sense to myself are most appreciated by others…
