- Your social security number? No idea! You need this to get a job or collect social security benefits.
- Your bank account number? In case you are on holiday and lost your credit cards, ATM, etc, you need to block your bank account, or access it to get money.
- The number plate of your car? If your car gets towed away or is stolen, the first thing you will be asked is the number plate of the car.
- Your blood type? You only need to know this in case of an emergency, but in that case it is very urgent to know the answer.
- If you are allergic? To prevent unnecessary reactions to certain types of foods or medicines it is good to know if you are allergic or not.
- Your own cell phone number? Eh.. save it in your phone.
- The passwords? of all your email accounts, forums, customer accounts, etc. Make a list the old fashioned way with pen and paper and store it in a safe place.
- How to change a tire? Or jump-start a car?
- Where your insurance papers are? And how about diploma’s, passport, guarantee papers, receipts, etc. Sort them and keep them in files.
- If your breath is fresh? Lick the back of your hand, let it dry and smell.
Never memorize something that you can look up.
