The human mind is a powerful thing…especially a woman’s; no offense guys. I say that because it’s a woman’s nature to be in touch with her emotions, the thoughts behind them and the direction in which she wants them to take her; we are wired like that. So, the topic of manifesting our heart’s desire through visualization is one that should interest the women of the world.
I really can’t imagine life without dreams, goals, and the “what ifs” that consume a good part of my mental day. After all, how can we expect to embrace the new if we don’t first understand what we are shooting for at any given time? Though sometimes “things” just happen, it is still imperative to solidify your dreams about the future; that way you know if the “things” that just happen should be taken as a part of your growth or something that will hinder it. I’ve seen many of these occasions in my life (stumbling blocks) that I didn’t foresee in time and ended up face-planting on the concrete.
The Road Map
In fiercely determining our futures, we must first create a sense of where we are presently, where we want to go, and then draw a map of how to get there. I’ve always found maps fascinating; in fact, my brother and I used to ride our bikes much further than we were supposed to in order to grab the free maps at the gas station. There’s just something about scouring a map of somewhere you’ve never been before. Our collection grew to include most of the states in the US – an accomplishment we thought was cool at the time. What would have been even better was actually visiting those places. You get my point.
A Clear Picture
Back to the power of the mind – it’s our passport, our detailed map, and our transport to wherever we want to go. Through the millions of thoughts and pictures that we experience every day, we can produce reality. Yes, I did say that. Hold on, though; it’s not quite that easy. Just thinking about something once and fleetingly will not manifest it. The clarity comes through thoughts and ideas that are backed by emotions and a grateful attitude. It’s feeling the reality (before it happens) that makes it happen. The president and director of Centerpointe Research Institute, Bill Harris says, “When you focus on something with a lot of passion, it makes it happen even faster.” Call it prayer, meditation, or whatever you want. Factually, the results depend on not what label you put on it but the reality that we connect to a much larger purpose on that level of consciousness.

The Concept Has Credibility
Many individuals have come to know this incredible law through their own experiences. Materials like The Secret, The Master Key, and the age old book, Think and Grow Rich are cornerstones in this human search to find the truth about our inner power. The concept of thinking about the good and shunning the bad is also seen in the teachings of the world’s religions; including, Christianity, Judaism, and Buddhism. Honestly, religion has nothing to do with it. Whether we believe in God, a higher power, or a collective consciousness, we can affect the outcome of our lives through powerful visualization and thoughts of what we want.
Oh, Wicked Tongue
Just as a woman has the incredible power to make her world beautiful, she also has the power to destroy it. Because we are naturally involved in the core of our own lives and those of our family members, we tend to get more emotional about life’s events. This can cause us to talk much-too-much about our circumstances to others around us. Don’t get me wrong; it’s okay to chat with your friends and family about life. Just think about what you are saying. Is it positive (future building), or is it negative (future destroying)? Words are powerful just as our thoughts are.
Make the Connection
Feeling, thinking, and speaking positively about our lives and futures takes practice; think of it as an athletic challenge in which you are exercising your spiritual and emotional muscles. With consistency and patience, you will see change come into the picture. Recently, I was introduced to a visualization/manifestation technique that I feel is more than doable for anyone. Here is an overview of the technique as quoted from Highchi.com.

To Manifest Your Desires
The 33 Second Technique
Professional Athletes know the amazing power of visualizing and feeling themselves winning, using their focus and intention. Deeply feeling having what you most desire is imperative to reality creation. In order to manifest something specific in your life, simply ask for what you desire with focused intention. Visualize and feel yourself having what you want with all the love, all the gratitude, and all the excitement and hold that image and emotion for 33 seconds. Afterwards, let go of your visualization and release your desire to the universe with gratitude, knowing it is already done. You will be amazed at how fast and easily you will be able to manifest your greatest desires. For best results, repeat 3 times.

Positive Action Creates Positive Results
Surround yourself with the epitome of what you desire. A dream board, photos, notes; whatever it takes to get the new, positive ideas into your head and heart. Be thankful for everything good in your life, and actually say it out loud every day. Feel the emotions as if you have already received your heart’s desires. Sow some seeds of faith that your dreams will come true. It’s time to grow past the mundane life that has so many of us in its grip. Dare to believe that your life can be different. You have the power within you to change your circumstances…no matter what.
